Behind the Lens
Photography is a big part of my life, and something I regret not doing more when I was younger. One of my reasons I love photography, it it captures not only pictures, but captures memories. Growing up in a family full of photographers, photography came naturally to me. Playing with cameras and settings helped me capture the beauties in life, often taken for granted.
Just a few years ago, I fell in love and planned a wedding of my own. I hired a beautiful caring, detail oriented, and organized wedding planner, named "MOM." Choosing a wedding photographer for me was as simple as getting the number to the guy across the way. :) I had so many family professional photographers. My problem though, was none could come. With such short notice, I was limited. So I handed my camera to my brother who did so well for never holding a camera. While I love my wedding pictures with no regrets, I wonder what it would have been like to have the same experiences I give my brides. This is a job I have always dreamed of and now I love.
Life is full of time altering days, and before you know it, life has come and you have more yesterdays until tomorrows. Photography makes those memories real, and holds time still.
